Andy took our son and a couple of friends to Newhaven Fort today..It is a real cool place, it is an old military fort built on top of a cliff. It was the first Fort of its kind and it is an amazingly huge feat of human ingenuity and engineering.
They even cut tunnels right down through to the bottom of the cliff where the old gun batteries once were.
Now it is a museum but it has had a very interesting history. Alas, Andy didn't take any pictures...but good news...!Our son did, he took some cracking pictures as you can see here above.
I, Dee stayed home again and relaxed.!
